the only weird thing with the plane is that it its like... 30 years old. It looks like something that would be top secret and under development today. Although, so did Horten's Amerika Bomber the 'Muricans copied while making the B2 :p
Nope! Jack Nothrop was working on flying wings thought the 20-40's. The B-2 is more inspired by the B-35 and B-49.

Most of us have the image of an aircraft in the shape of 士 when talking about airplanes. The B-2 however, is in the shape of V, without a tail, that's why it looks futuristic and top-secret like. At least it does to me.
I thought the B-2 originated from "acquired" prototype designs of the German delta-winged GO-229 from the end of WWII. Wasn't aware that an American group was working on similar projects. Not surprised I guess.
Yes, but we improved on it.
I like all aircraft, but my honest favorite is the F-22 Raptor.
