Description
You probably saw this on Concept Ships before.
The only 27mm gun in service is the Mauser BK-27. Maybe it could use a variant of the linkless fed version on the Eurofighter Typhoon.
I would prefer 30mm to be honest. M230LF along with an improved HEDP round would increase throw and maybe solve the built in M230's CEP issues.
Of course this is talking current tech.
Not a bad idea though 27x145mm is longer and has a longer range than the 30x113. They are going to put the M230LF on the JLTV so it might work.
