Oh god, i can't stand digital camouflages on uniforms and now Russians have the brilliant idea of putting it on a MiG-29 ???
What's it's purpose?
It looks terryfying similar to the flop ACU which does not blend with any enviroment, let alone with sky!!!
Much better the two tone or single tone camouflages for aircrafts.
It basically blends in better with the enviroment because it has a much higher color depth because ot has so man diffrent colored spots. The enviroment has high irregular diffrent shaded color spots so a camo with lots and lots of diffrent colored spots blends in very well. The german flecktarn works almost the same way. It is a very effective woodland camo but also because the camo spots are so tiny just like in digital camo.
never seen the "Digital" Camo on a plane before hee hee.

I know how it should work, but it does not in reality!!!
If you want a great example of similar-digital camouflage look at Multicam Scheme.
