My favorite concept aircraft that would be the F22/F14 combo made int the 1980s

Looks like F22 was inspired by this, alot of similiar parts between the two. Just Raptor is slimmer.
remeber that those wings wieghts ALOT and are useless while in air, their only purpouse is for short landings.
That was a main problem, the wing joint was heavy. This is the same problem with Northrop Grumman's Swtichblade desgign. The ATF is a switchblade in a sense. The F22 was one of Lockheed's response to the (N)ATF project.
man i like that wing design :P
