but it got the wrong build as a In-soviet-russia joke. The meaning is not that you mean the opposite, but the fact that is Soviet Russia this is true, and it's the opposite to the western world.
"In America you watch TV. In Soviet Russia TV watch you!" The joke here is that in Soviet, KGB supposedly have a camera in your TV...
if "In Soviet Russia you gonna die", then "In America die gonna you" so it just can't be a soviet russia joke :p
