F-117 on the Yugoslavian soil

14 years ago, on the 27th March 1999., in 20:42 CET, Yugoslav Air Defence have shot down a F-117A "Nighthawk" (by 3rd Division, 250th Air Defense Brigade). It was shot down with S-125 "Neva" system (also known as "Pechora") which had "small tech innovation". F-117A crashed near the village of Budjanovci.
Few days later, for such actions of Yugoslavian Army, NATO punished the Yugoslavs with intense carpet bombing.
Not so stealthy now, eh?
They also shot down a B2 bomber, how the hell where they able to do that?

It really wasn't it came from mixing up the f117 and B2 because both are stealth bombers. If a B2 was ever shot down, we'd see tons of footage of it like the F117 and yet there's none.
It is because it fell in the Croatia, so we couldn't get material evidence. Their firefighters said a plane size of a football field fell in forest. Here's the video of interview with commander of the rocket brigade that also downed the F-117A:
He mentions that Germany and Croatia knew that a B2 was shot down and even published it on the news and Yugoslavian news didn't because they couldn't get to the crash site. Makes no sense and where's all the news footage then? Some people say that 3 F117 were shot down. It's just a made up story to boast even more. And how would you explain the fact that a total of 21 were created and 20 still fly because Kansas (not Texas as the guy says) crashed? And no more than 21 were ever produced? And I doubt they would waste money make a 22nd B2 just to cover up Missouri, costs way too much and some of the aircraft enthusiasts would obviously notice that the Missouri is missing and report to some magazine.

It would seem the greatest threat to any american aircraft is the ground crew who service them and the pilots who fly them.

I'm just an American patriot. Not a nationalist. I don't think I'm superior to any other nation and I don't go around bashing other nations.
What don't you understand about "We aren't bashing any nation?"
I'd praise a WW2 German ace getting a truckload of kills, and the same for a Brit. It doesn't mean I'm suddenly bashing the Brits or Germans does it?
And what if it had been the other way round? The Soviets created some super stealth plane and bragged the heck out of it, and it goes and gets shot down by a Texan wielding a shotgun. Lol? You'd be all over it I'm sure.
They were able to do it with luck. What we don't know is how many missles were launched at the plane.

Whats so different between a wreckage of a Russian MiG-29 and a wreckage of an American F-117? They're both planes which were shot down. Things like this always happen in armed conflicts.
Why do you guys like to criticise other people and overreact when they criticise you (I know a lot of you Americans aren't as stuck-up as this)?
People bash mericans for this incident because mericans were all over the invisible and undetectable piece of state of the art flying technology like it's the modern god of war and everyone should **** themselfs from even hearing it's name and yet it got shot down by a 30 year old sam that doesn't even have proper targeting thus "shooting down" merican pride and incepting an endless ammount of lulz and trolling against the mericans.
This certainly was quite the embarrassing moment for the US. And quite the lolz for the Serbs.
Buy Soviet, because they have lifetime warranty!
