Description
Misawa Air Facility, Japan - An EA-18G Growler from the U.S Navy Electronic Attack Squadron VAQ-132 "Scorpions" returns from a mission and taxis on the Naval Air Facility Misawa flight line.
The EA-18G's advantage over the EA-6B Prowler is that it shares common equipment as the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, allowing for easier logistics and maintenance, being able to keep up with the Super Hornet on strike missions and be able to defend itself unlike the EA-6B, being able to be equipped with 2 AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles.
