not true stigman, that plane acutaly carries more fuel than bombs, so i cant carrie very many nukes, that why they got rid of it and also becuase it was not jet powered and itt has hard to maintain for its large size.
Isn't the B-36 the plane where they tried to put a nuclear reactor in it?

they had one plane with nuke reactor on board, but they had no way to use nuclear energy to power aircrafts
