Microsoft has plans for something new?
Work with a new chapter in a "well-known and loved" series.
Powerupgaming writes that Microsoft Studios is so far in creating the next chapter in a familiar franchise in the strategy genre. This is reported after Microsoft posted several vacancy announcements on their websites. Among these sought after three software engineers who will work with the project.
In addition searches for an experienced server network engineer who will be responsible to keep going multiplayer aspeket of the game that will be very central. Although it has not reached any confirmation so already rumor mill has started. Lowest odds are that it is the sequel to Halo Wars in 2008 which we now see conjectures of.
The only strategy game series I know that they own is Age of Empires.
I really hope that there is a new Age of Empires that comes, really liked that game.
We want a Freelancer sequel :P
Rise of Nations 2 would be nice...
Rise of Nations is one great game, but I like Age of Empires more.
But Rise of Legends was really fun.
Indeed great game that too.
Age of empires would be great! hope not just a hd version of a old game.
