Hy!

Let me introduce Cloud, a 2D sidescroller game with generated terrain, and online profile storage for custom maps.
Technically it was a test project about combining, mesh deformation knowledge with MySQL/PHP support.

About the Game:

In Play Mode, you able to enjoy the story of the last evaporated water drop Cloud itselft. Trough your your journey, you help flower seeds to sprout and meet the badass cacti gang who rules the desert.

In Editor Mode, you are able to show your creativity by creating custom maps based on the game's newly discovered assets, and share it with your in-game friends.

About the Development:

The game, as i mentioned before was a show-off subject for my latest mesh modifier and web knowledge. There are a lot of games inspired me for the story and the current look. Little Big Planet for the Editor itself, Journey for the visuals and the dune asset and thatgameconpany's first known game Cloud for the feeling. However, it started as a indie game for PC, but after a few months, as Unity started to support Android builds for free, i added mobile touch screen controls for the game.
The game was planned with 4 different worlds. The story started from desert landscape and after each 5th mission you arrived to another biome like jungle, mountains, city. Each biome planned to have different positive or negative NPC-s, and by knowing the natural powers of a cloud you had the chance to solve riddles for a positive or a negative outcome.
There was many different activities or capabilities planned for the player like: turn on electric devices or create fire with the ligtning, blow away flowers/seeds, pick up cars animals by instant tornado. All of those little mechanics was planned to create a loveable gameplay with many possibilities.
However, it wasn't just my idea. Guys at www.kumolumo.com had the same concept for the gameplay, but for a different market. They created a funky little game, with used the same topic, and characters and game layout. What happend then?
They won the Best of 2013 iPhone game award with Kumo Lumo (Chillingo.com)

After that i forgot this poject a little.

But right now i would like to show it for You! For Fun!

So, where you can play it?
