May the 4th be with you!
May 4, 2013 Star Wars: BattleCry News 13 commentsWe've got lots of exciting things to show you/tell you about on Star Wars Day!
We are Vader's Fist, we are the Five Hundred and First!
The 501st Legion, also known as the 501st Battalion during the Clone Wars and later known as "Vader's Fist" and the Five Hundred and First, was an elite unit of clone troopers commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars that later became a stormtrooper unit. Made up of units like Torrent Company, the 501st fought in many battles, such as the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Coruscant, becoming one of the most well-known legions. In 19 BBY, the 501st became Darth Vader's personal unit as he led them during Operation: Knightfall, in which the clones helped take down the Jedi, whom they believed to be traitors to the Republic.

501st Journals

Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, the 501st transitioned into a stormtrooper unit, like other clone units. Given new armor and weapons, the 501st faithfully served the Empire, operating under the direct command of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. After the Battle of Kamino, the 501st became the last remnant of the Grand Army of the Republic fully composed of Jango Fett clones, as opposed to the ever-growing and more diverse Stormtrooper Corps, where the Fett clones became a minority, with the inclusion of a pool of clones from different templates and birth-born recruits, while others were not clones, but humans from an Imperial academy.
The legion fought in a number of battles during the Galactic Civil War in an effort to defeat the Rebel Alliance and bring peace to the galaxy, although the Alliance ultimately triumphed. Though the 501st was disbanded after the Battle of Endor, the Chiss Grand Admiral Thrawn resurrected the designation by forming a new 501st Legion. He also added more diverse recruits to the 501st, including non-Humans. The reconstituted 501st was stationed in the Unknown Regions, where they protected Thrawn's Empire of the Hand. Over a century later, the legion was in the service of a new Empire, by then under the rule of Emperor Roan Fel.

It's time for you folks to check out what we've all been up to! Oh and as you've probably already noticed, we've got our very own Proton rifle!
Welcome to the April update (part 1 (maybe)), it’s been a while! Take a look at what we've all been up to!
Here's my opinion of the Clone wars in a news article because it is going to be longer than a standard comment (please do not delete)
Sorry for the wait BattleCry fans. But just because there was a slight delay doesn't mean we haven't been making great things!

It can take up to a few hours for tweets to begin appearing.
"In the past, we secretly enjoyed putting down a local insurrection or two. They kept the troops sharp and the Empire feared. But these Rebels were different. They were organized, they were growing, and they were everywhere."
"It's been said that the 501st got the best of the war. We also got the worst."
I am at the stage of quoting Battlefront 2 :
"Nobody messes with the 501st "
i second this
you mess with the best you die like the rest- us army rangers but it applys to the 501st as well in this case

Thanks, man.
We’re hearing, along with our friends at RebelForce Radio, that The Clone Wars team at Lucasfilm will be disbanded imminently and this is our VERY last chance so save The Clone Wars. We were one of the first to break the news that The Clone Wars had ended and we want to be part of the group of fans that helps save it – even if it’s only a direct to Blu-ray/DVD release.
The remaining episodes that are finished or in part-production do NOT in any way wrap up the fates of the Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress and many others. If you want these stories to be told that we must act NOW as a community before it’s too late – time is NOT on our side.
Send letters NOW to Bob Iger, Kathleen Kenedy and George Lucas asking for a conclusion, leading into the events of Revenge of the Sith, at the addresses below.
•Bob Iger – Disney Studios, 500 S Buena Vista St, Burbank, CA 91521
•Kathleen Kennedy – Lucasfilm, P.O. Box 29901, San Francisco, CA 94129-0901
•George Lucas – P.O. Box 2009, San Rafael, CA 94912
The next few days really are our LAST CHANCE to save The Clone Wars and to ensure our voices as a community are heard – the time is NOW – get writing, comment on Facebook, Tweet about it – let’s ensure, as a community, we see a fitting ending to The Clone Wars (please keep your letters polite and respectful!)
i'm just doing what someone wanted me to do spread the word is all
even though there is no bomber. i find that quite dumb. when you fake the console and disalow the ai spawn, you still hear: tie fighter on your tail!
but why can they recognise land units (F.E. geonosians: bugs in the sky!) but do they randomly say some space ships?
