I'm actually surprised there aren't more tutorials here. With 45 members of talent, there ought to be enough man power and brains to write a book, or even several books! Just food for thought.

I just recently started modeling, having been a texture artist for a little over a year and a half now.

I might do a few skinning tutorials, and maybe a tutorial on making a metal ribbed barrel. I just am kneedeep in the dea--homework.

New tutorial on its way. Modelling a low-poly Spas 12 in under 3 hours - got 85 minutes done, but gonna have to finish the last half tonight or tomorrow.

Again; full resolution, MPEG-4 so high quality. Will be up tomorrow at some point. I'll keep you all posted.

Anyone want to fix the "if your a modeller, animator, skinner" to say "if YOU'RE a modeller, animator, skinner"?

Your and you're are two different words, and it'd make you look a lot more professional. >_<

You have to pay for those in most cases; but watch the videos - makes life a LOT easier.

I hate it too =]. Good luck!

Would any of you guys appreciate a rendering tutorial (Max)?
Some of the models are god; but renders would really spruce them up something nice :).

Vid's up. 16 minutes or so. Hit the tutorials section.

Its nothing spectacular; but if you've no clue how to render its a starting point. =]

Aye, saw you renders; one of the few who have a grasp of it =].

My approach is slightly different; directional target spot with slight orange hue at somewhere between 0.8-1.2 depending on the scene; and a skylight at 0.4, blue hue. Light Tracer and (usually) Catmull-Rom renderer. :)

I'll maybe whack off a quick vid tutorial today... if Camtasia is still working!
