Yes you can, If I can do it, everyone can :')
Saying "I could never do that" isn't a way forward, you just need to experiment with things and try them out and just keep practicing :)
Wouldn't mind seeing this with a different shader, and maybe some anti aliasing.
I'm not sure what this reminds me of, but it's something. What were your influences when designing it?

The influences that made me sculpt this was a mix of a griffin, Amaterasu from Okami and a bit of kingdom hearts (Love KH!)
Ahh yea thats much better. I think there are a few things you could do to improve it though. Like where the carapace comes out of the back, maybe put some indents into the skin where they protrude from, like say if a pair of horns were sticking out of someones head, the skin would come out slightly.
Hmm, I never played okami, but I've always wanted to, and KH hearts is just amazing.
And I figured out what it was, it reminds of those steeds from Golden Axe, the weird pink and green ones. Well, the body isn't the same it's more the head than anything.
Yeah I know what you mean, but not sure If I want to come back to this and do the little indents since its a lot of work lol.

there you go, as you can see, there is a slight similarity, not saying you actually copied it though, as we both know, everything has been done nowadays!
