Its good; just some constructive points:
The front limbs seem to pop-out from the side of the animal a bit too much?
The eye socket it perhaps a little large, perhaps add some more detail to the nose too - Elk's noses are just nostrils =].
Their fur also sags a bit more; its longer on the base of the animal.
Apart from that; its nice. Like the fur effect you've got going and the scar on the rear of the animal is good attention to detail.
needs some more definition in the musculature and face, but a good start!
