I quite like the pixel art. And I have yet to see the gameplay. Tracking in hope of a demo soon. Keep up with the good work, and don't let haters kick you down. ;)
At the current time the programmer (Hobo) has been very busy.
I on the other hand have not done much progress on the graphic side of the game.
I would love to get some progress on the game, however barely any of the sort has happened for a while now.

May I ask why you think it looks terrible, and what we can do to improve it? Please keep in mind this is a very early version, and many improvements as well as tons of new features are being added soon.
