To even get in the Spotlight list your mod release post needs to be featured first. To become featured you need to make a news post that makes it to the front page, a good news post must have good formatting and media before it is allow on the front page.

He meant it isn't a mod but the video is called: Mod Video Spotlight - April 2009, but it shows indie games. Should you call it 'ModDB Video Spotlight - April 2009' then to save confusion?
No it's commercial game and that has nothing to do with modding
