Desura is experiencing some issues with their servers that is preventing installation. We only know that they are working on it, but don't have an ETA - hopefully we will have more information later this afternoon (will post here).

In the mean-time if you've purchased the game but can't install it, please send us a PM and we'll make sure you can get a copy until Desura is fixed.

thanks (and sorry)!

UPDATE: according to our tests this issue has been resolved, we're still waiting for a confirmation, but we're pretty sure things are good to go again.

So uh... when do we actually get to play the game? I purchased and installed the game, but it says that there're no available releases... and yet, the game was supposed to have come out yesterday morning... I'm confused.

Hello Fellow gamers, Xenominer for one is not a minecraft knock off, Xenominer is a whole new ballgame and it fits vary well with those who might have liked playing minecraft or other block building type games. Xenominer reaches new depths in the Blocky Field of wonder and creation and is ever expanding to and over new Horizons and i feel Xenominer is a game with Great potential in a Fresh direction. i love playing Xenominer even in single player just because its different from your op console games. yea sure i could be killing baddies in MW3 but i love to use my creativeness to make new things and show friends what i've done. now shooting baddies is still fun, but when you can build your own level/base on a moon? its a whole new style of survival. theres allot to this game that makes it great, and you'll just have to play it to find out what i mean. its worth the 80 microsoft points on x-Box its worth the $15 on pc, i would pay 100$ for this game! all things considered this game is a 9.5/10 for me and i recommend it to all my friends.

In my opinion, I think Xenominer is better than Minecraft, and I've been playing Minecraft for years.

I found this game on facebook and instantly started to research it. I ended up getting the early adopter package and started playing. Gristmill has made so much progress in the development of Xenominer. They respond to emails and posts on the forum. They are organized and might one day be a top game company. If you are thinking of getting Xenominer I would get it. And if you have questions there is so much information on the very active forum and the website. Xenominer is so different from Minecraft. It is a whole new fun experience but keeps the feel of sandbox game.

I got the Xbox 360 version several months ago and I have never been disapointed and I picked up the PC version which is exactly the same, an Adictingly Fun Game to Play.

While it has been in Beta the Gristmill Team has not only showed a high level of comitment to it's players but has been fun on the forum as they have listened to players about their questions and suggestions.

It has been fun seeing all of the new features they are continually adding like the newly added Player Named Venator AI.

Also unlike any other game I have seen there is a Programable Alien Robot that you can use to build or mine beside you, and with the comunity on their Forum learning how is an exciting adventure. Personally it is one of my favorite features!

Xenominer is way better than Minecraft, and I'm a hardcore Minecraft player too.
