Xenocrystaloid Contentions is an semi-open world Fantasy 3D Action RPG develops soloist with Esenthel Engine. It takes place in the world of Achtelms, in the arena season where warrior from different location, races, racing to win this season be it for fortunate, reputation or cash.
A game will contains replayability, as player can play as different character that different from play style to story and background lore.

World Lore:
Achtelms is the mysterious world that connected by dimension gateway. It is one huge land that separate into 8 major continents, each continents have it characteristic and is connected to Elemental Crystal in the heart of each continents.
Because of natural occupation of dimension gateway. As time goes by Achtelms will always contains new thing to explore or new races may appear, be it intelligent, wild animal or even lifeless form.

Feature Summary
    The game features lot of unique and evolution system that aim for flexible and versatile gameplay ranging from basic system to advanced system.
Basic system that worth mention are character statistic. All character will have resources from 4 to 6, a basic stats are HP, MP, Endurance, and Durability.
There're 6 main attribute including Strength, Dexterity, Intellect, Agility, Vitality and Wisdom, each serve different purpose and allows player to shape how character plays.

Gameplay Features

  • Time System: The game will contains day and night time, each week contain 8 days, it named after elemental. (It is game lore.)
  • Need both potion, Heal and Regeneration: Healing ability, potion and fast regeneration will not replace each others with this HP system.
  • Playing Different Character: Player will be play as one of arena competitors, each with their story and explore different lore of Achtelms.
  • Game mode: There's 2 game mode planned. Campaign Mode and Survival Mode where player fight in customizable arena until defeated.
  • Interactive Combat: An Power Trigger is used to indicate cast time or more control like adjusts power, triggering a trigger can be used in various condition like make adjustable power stuff more powerful if trigger in certain time, trigger early for quick low power. Some form of ability and ranged weapon can use Power Trigger to adjusts power of the projectile.
  • Combat System: Unlike most action/action rpg game this game will focus on player skill an reaction, character can block, double jump, dash, sprint. While attacking, character can move freely. Taking attack or blocking too much will make character struggle and become vulnerable temporary.
    Different weapon style from sword, axe, spear, bow, crossbow, bare hand, etc... Player can dual-wielding any one-handed weapon. (Melee+Ranged is not possible, however.) Attack style can also be changed which will change how character attack and focus, like more damage but less speed.
  • Choosing right ability: Ability can have an additional effect by moving it into middle of action bar. This is called a focused ability (or highlight effect).
  • Aim it yourself: Using ranged weapon or some ability you have to aim it, some also affect by gravity. Melee weapon can be aim up or down as well, aim for the weak point for critical hit!
    Pointing ability can be move freely, in/out, ground/air, allows player to target target mid-air or above you.
  • Extra Camera: Player will have a controllable camera that can be move freely it can be used to assist player in every possible thing like help targeting or self-caution. 
  • Unique Character Level: Every character will have 3 Level types including, an actual character level, a temporary zone level, and a level that need to be filled by spendable point.
  • Movement Acceleration: When movement speed is changing, instead of instantaneous change, the movement speed will be speeding up or slowing down .
  • Character Customization
            Ability: Each character have their own ability tree. Some of them are unlock by level, campaign or loot. Ability can be choose up to 9 at a time.
            Inventory Pool: All item and money once received, it will stay in an inventory pool, this inventory can be access by any character in current player profile. 
  • Unique Equipment Reforge: To prevent some favorite cool looking equipment get replace by new loot. A reforge system that allows player upgrade cheapest weapon to become powerful as boss weapon or player can break apart boss weapon for model or enchantment to forge or enchant your weapon. 
  • Play Alone or Co-op: This is offline game and can be play single or multiplayer co-operative (up to 4) with LAN.

And much more as development and designs progress.

After some absent in update, the demo of combat is now available.

In this demo, player will be play as first human character, Irlen the Battle Master, in the survival mode.
The survival mode is not being worked on at the moment, so you'll be able to spawn or increases an enemy level.

Most weapon only contains 1 attack style and 1 animation for each buttons.

With this demo released, I can send out the update once I finish some system or something where you can test and voice in your opinions about it.

Due to the university, I mostly work on Xenocrystaloid on Monday to Thursday.
