Wyv and Keep is a grid-based action/puzzle game starring two young treasure hunters: Wyv and Keep. The central gameplay focus is on puzzle solving using a joint team effort, and in some instances, precise timing and action-puzzle navigation are key. For the bulk of the adventure, the ultimate goal is to navigate past a series of obstacles and activate a switch to open the level's exit and advance to the next stage.

multiplayer still not working. Only "connecting". When can we expect fix?
Sorry you're still having problems! We're working on fixes for a few connection bugs. Have you been able to get into the lobby at all? Never? If you have any other network devices running, they may be causing connection issues. We'll be fixing that, but for now we're putting suggestions for temporary solutions here: Jollycorpse.com
i purchased the pre-release on desura ages ago, back then the online multiplayer didn't work very well yet. i just heard about the new version that's out now (the release candidate) and decided to give it another try.. but i just get stuck on "connecting..." whenever i try to access the online mode :(
this is on windows 7, btw.
Hi Nemui! We solved this on Facebook, right? "thanks for the response! it was on the most recent version. but apparently having different networks (like hamachi, in my case) can mess up the online mode. once i deactivated the other network, it worked for me."
Waiting for bugfixes
so after todays update I get this error:
Unhandled Exception:
System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MainWindow' from assembly 'SettingUI, Version=1.0.4893.26716, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MainWindow' from assembly 'SettingUI, Version=1.0.4893.26716, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'
I have Mono JIT compiler version 3.0.7
btw; wenn I try starting the game via the client it tries to start it with wine, is there something you can do about that or is that my fault?
Hi anagromataf, What version of Linux are you using? You will need to get libgtk2.0-cil. if you are using Ubuntu, the 'sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-cil' should do the trick. Unfortunately there is no way to specify this is needed through Desura.
As for the Wine issue, I thought that was fixed. I will have to look into that tonight.
after some searching (using gentoo here); i found out i needed mono-addins[gtk] and it is working now (at least the start screen i'm a bit in a hurry wil test later)
i want to report that the online game does not work it show online users but when connect and make new game it will just start in offline or something else is going wrong
Wont work for me, gives:
/bin/sh: 0: Can't open wyvandkeepsettings
mono --version for you:
Mono JIT compiler version 2.10.8.1 (Debian 2.10.8.1-8)
Sorry, the MCF version has a bug in it that I need to resolve. For now, you should be able to use the standalone version. It also has a minor bug, so here is what you will need to do: "sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-cil", when that is done, then just double click the WyvAndKeep deb file and it should install and run. Sorry about this, like I said earlier the Linux version is a bit rough in places.
any reason you don't want to provide a tar.gz so non-deb-rpm users have an easy way of using the standalone version?
We will do this once the deb and the Desura versions are squared away. Shouldn't be too much longer.
