Internal beta testing has begun on the first standalone much sooner than anticipated. It's a nail biting time for us as we receive the first feedback on the technical hurdles we had to overcome, and no-one likes bug reports as much as our fine betatest team, who really know how to destroy a great game in a constructive and uncompromising way. ;) Cyrri our bot master has been working with our PsychicPad who knows the WoP bots behaviour intimately, but it seems that Psychic took no notice of those early news items and so he got a rude awakening from his first encounter with the newly enhanced standalone bots who OWNED him in no time at all. :O

By the way the MODDB Mod of the Year Awards 2006 are over now and we got honorably mentioned for "Visuals" and "Upcoming Standalone" within the Editor's Choice Awards. That's more we ever expected! Many thanks for that.

i meant Universal Binary, so intel macs can run this game nativly. (if its run nativly on the mac, performance will not be cut because its not a power pc mac)

I am not sure what you said PVT Johnson, but WoP will be compatible with Windows, Linux and mac. With seperate installers for each, all released at the same time. Also at some time soon i may get some screenshots of the maps at angles that really will show you the huge scale of the maps. You are only as big as a grasshopper in there. ;>
