Wic-ked review - World in Conflict Game

Base building..
Hell no, I love RTS games in all their forms all with great basebuilding and a chance for defense games. This has no base building, if you want units wou get them dropped out of a plane, men parachute down and helicopter (yes helicopters) get dropped from the sky whithout a plane.

Units
You get to choose from four classes; Infantry, Vehicles, Air (helicopters) and support. Yes i may have got some of the names wrong, yet i will explain what is what.

Infantry
The soldiers are versatile, they have some vehicles in their unit choices and have anti tank soldiers and base infantry for taking on most apart from some distant artillery.

Vehicles
Well theres a mission that requires crossing water in New York, so what to do? Well you sent your amphibious vehicles to get across and carry your mates infantry across while the helicopters fly by. Sofening up the enemy before you arrive as you cant go as fast as a chopper.

Air
Helicopters, lots of helicopters. There is anti-helicopter helicopters, anti-ground helicopters, scout and a transport helicopter for getting the very enthusiastic infantry to the front. Support
If your a coward or a person who likes killing helpless enemies support is for you. You can have artillery units which are expensive so can have a three badass artillery with all your reinforcement points. You can park those artillery behind your lines and take out all your enemies ground units. Or you can have anti air units, which cannot fend for themselves against ground units and tanks cant fend for themselves against choppers so why not partner up.

I love this game so very much, there another review which i read on this site which has detail and information i cannot match, i decided to say what I like about the game and put it in a better light for those that are worried about the lack of basebuilding which i love in other games, age of empires, dawn of war and the others (no i did not mention like a load of things).
