Set in a futuristic cartoon-like world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets, Warsow is a completely free fast-paced first-person shooter (FPS) for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Speed and movement, that's what Warsow is all about. Like a true cyberathlete you jump, dash, dodge and walljump your way through the game. Grab those power-ups before your enemy does, plant the bomb before anyone sees you, and steal the enemy's flag before anyone knows what's going on! A handful of popular gametypes come shipped with Warsow, like Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Clan Arena, Instagib and Duel. Warsow invites you to add to this list, by creating your own custom gametypes with the brand new gametype scripting system! Please post all support issues in the forums for the game.
Great game, reminds me of the UT (unreal torunament) series and the quake 3 arena game :)
Its like connecting Cartoony style with Quake.
It have two very orginal gamemodes- INSTAQ and Race. INstaq (if I remember name) was also added to Quake Live. Race is - as names suggested- racing by using all tricks in game. Also, it's possible to Cusomisade many minor things for character.
Sadly i dont gibe higher than 8 becouse thoose tricks are hard to learn and tutotrials that is in game not showing all thoose trick.
It's fun and looks great but not much as been changed from quake.
Great game, the only problem is the pretty insane learning curve, making it almost impossible to join as a new player. Except from that everything is perfect.
Played it some in early stage, it was fun for awhile. Kinda feels like Unreal Tournament and Mirror's Edge in a combo. Run around and jump like a maniac while you at the same time shoot people. It's fun and addictive, but I didn't stay for so long. Too bad really.
