What is Warsow?
Set in a futuristic cartoon-like world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets, Warsow is a completely free fast-paced first-person shooter (FPS) for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
Speed and movement, that's what Warsow is all about. Like a true cyberathlete you jump, dash, dodge and walljump your way through the game. Grab those power-ups before your enemy does, plant the bomb before anyone sees you, and steal the enemy's flag before anyone knows what's going on!
A handful of popular gametypes come shipped with Warsow, like Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Clan Arena, Instagib and Duel. Warsow invites you to add to this list, by creating your own custom gametypes with the brand new gametype scripting system!
What is new in Warsow 0.5?
With version 0.5 Warsow reaches a major milestone in its development. Feature-wise and technically, Warsow is now more complete, stable and polished than ever. Countless improvements, additions, changes and tweaks have been made in the visuals, gameplay and engine features of Warsow.
Some of the new features in Warsow 0.5:
» Weapon settings, armor settings and movement system have been tweaked and revised
» Weapons can stun players, making them unable to walljump for a short period of time after being hit
» Warsow 0.5 introduces AngelScript gametype scripting, inviting everyone to create their own custom gametypes
» Warsow 0.5 has new maps, textures, playermodels, engine features, visual effects... even a brand new weapon!
» Warsow 0.5 comes with new gametypes: Team Domination, Headhunt, Bomb & Defuse

Warsow 0.5 is finally released after a long time of hard work and a few release candidates tested by YOU, the community. With version 0.5 Warsow reaches a major milestone in its development. Feature-wise and technically, Warsow is now more complete, stable and polished than ever!
Some of the new features in Warsow 0.5:
- Weapon settings, armor settings and movement system have been tweaked and revised

Congrats on .5 team!
It looks like it will change the movement up a bit and make it easier to kill people thanks to the stun feature. Hopefully the movement is still fluid and fast. I still have to check it out but the trailer was amazing. So glad this game is still being worked on!

this is for the wii how does it work a asectly like u put it on the wii or the pc? never done this before
Warsow is only for Windows, Linux and Mac.
There is no Wii version.
yea they really need to remove the PC, WII, XBOX, etc from the navigation at the top of the page. seeing how they have never worked.

This is fantastic, spent like half of my lessons in college first year playing this on a LAN server with all my mates.
Such good memories, one of the greatest FPS games EVER! Nice going :)

Such an amazingly fun FPS that really holds its grounds against the classics. I am sad that I found out about this game so late in its life, I hope it stays alive for a long time!
