Warsow is a standalone eSports oriented first-person shooter for Windows, Linux and Mac. Its fast-paced gameplay focuses on trick jumps and the art of movement and features a complete power-up system including weak and strong fire modes for each weapon. Based on the Qfusion engine it is powered by cartoonish, but not manga-style, graphics with cel shading, mixing dark, flashy and dirty textures, matching with action full of fun and speed.

The goal of the new gamemode is to take controlpoints, domination style, to score points. By default the controlpoints replace Red Armor, Mega Health, Quad and Warshell positions on the maps, but the mapper can specify/change the locations of the controlpoints too.
Also shown in the video is the new playermodel (Bobot), the new Instagun weaponmodel and some of the new graphic effects (such as walljump smokepuffs, dash-effects). Warsow 0.4 is currently in RC stage, so a release shouldn't be too far off now! :)

Great Job guys, love the new models and the smoke puffs are a really nice idea. The new game mode will bring some interesting challnege, hope it will be played a lot on the servers.

If you like Quake or UT you need to play it. It's far from boring.
