This story takes place in a place vaguely reminiscent of modern-day Japan. In the twenty years since the first Human Tank was developed, the war raging between the Empire of Japon and the Kingdom of Japon has turned into a proxy war fought between Human Tanks on both sides.
The Empire of Japon once ruled the entire land of Japon. Now diminished and cornered, the Empire prepares to make its last stand as the tanks of the Kingdom of Japon draw close to its capital. Shoutaro Daihon’ei, Lieutenant of the Imperial Army moves out to the battlefield, followed closely by the loyal Human Tanks in his company.
Features:
- Fast-paced strategic battles in over 30 maps
- Use resources earned from battles to develop new tanks
- Customize your tanks with various modules to deadly effect
- Multiple endings based on your performance
- Replay the story keeping your previously earned units and resources
- Free battle mode to practice and gather extra supplies
- English localization features two all-new bonus maps, hand-drawn battle backgrounds and an improved user interface
War of the Human Tanks is supported for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

The Mighty Bundle from Indie Royale has 6 super strong games for you. We've got Waveform; Avadon: The Black Fortress; Zafehouse Diaries; Derrick the Deathfin; Tidalis and War of the Human Tanks.
First up in The Mighty Bundle is Waveform from Eden Industries. This fantastic game sees the player navigate the beauty and hazards of the solar system while riding on a wave of light in an innovative action-puzzle game. Gaming Nexus said "controlling a wave of light is executed flawlessly through beautifully rendered levels and a challenging, but addictive gameplay experience". Waveform is available on Windows and Mac from Steam, on Desura and DRM-Free for PC, Mac and Linux.
Next we have Avadon: The Black Fortress from Spiderweb Software. This epic role playing fantasy saga sets the player the task of protecting The Pact to save the day. RPG Fan said it "reminded me of some of the best games I've ever played" and gave it an Editor's Choice award. It's available from Steam & DRM-Free for Windows, Mac & Linux and on Desura. We've also got a hint book if you need it!
Next up is Zafehouse Diaries from Screwfly Studios. It's a tactical game of survival, planning, resource management and problem-solving. Zafehouse: Diaries uses a text diary-based interface for a game which is different every time you play it. We've got it for Windows on Desura and DRM-Free.
Following along in The Mighty Bundle is Derrick the Deathfin from Different Tuna. An underwater papercraft game that's also a fast paced arcade game. Derrick the Deathfin is available on Windows through Desura and Windows & Mac DRM-Free.
Another strong game in The Mighty Bundle is Tidalis from Arcen Games. A block-based puzzle game with casual appeal, hardcore depth, and an addictive "streams" mechanic. Eurogamer said "Tidalis is a charmingly lo-fi package that positively drowns you in content." The game is available for Windows from Steam.
Finally we have War of the Human Tanks from Fruitbat Factory. In this story driven strategy game that pits the group of Human Tanks commanded by the player against the opposing Commanding Officers and their forces. We've got it on Windows from Desura. It's also on Steam Greenlight now and we've got the soundtrack.
Those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during The Mighty Bundle will get Darkman007's heavy chiptune album: Chiptunes 2012. This album is available in MP3 and FLAC format.
We've started to put interviews with some of the developers whose games we've featured in different Indie Royale bundles on our YouTube channel; check in for the latest videos.
You can find more information on The Mighty Bundle, including real-time statistics and its current price, on its official website or via its Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. I picked this up as part of bundle in a box a while back and finally got a chance to play it. I'm impressed! I was expecting something like Advanced Wars, but the one hit kills and real time combat definitely make this game stand apart. The branching story line was unexpected too, I lost a battle and decided to keep going instead of reloading. Very few games give you a reason to accept defeat.
+1 Greenlight vote for you guys.
Nice game, hoping for it to be greenlit on steam soon, you got my vote ;D
Thank you!
The text looks awkward Snag.gy
How to fix it?
I think you might be missing the Windows default font MS Gothic, I'd recommend checking that first, you should get it from the Windows install disc if that's the case.
Well, I've installed it on another PC and it seems to work fine. I guess desura doesn't have saves in cloud so there's no point playing it on both PCs. Thanks anyway.
Quick tip: If you click attack button, but than you want to change the tank you're attacking with you should just click the right mouse button, not the left mouse button on your own tank again. Because I killed my own commander this way.
if you can find your save file i'm sure you can transfer it or just transfer the hold directory if you got a gig or so flash drive.
fun game btw really hope you get greenlit.
We are having a 40% discount to celebrate reaching 40% of the target funding for our next game, 99 Spirits, on IndieGoGo:

I'm definitely voting for this game in Greenlight, can't wait for it to get on Steam ;D Thanks for such a cool game!
Thank you for the support, glad you liked it! Every vote counts on Greenlight too :).
