Voyage to Farland is a tough-as-nails graphical roguelike game. What's a roguelike? It's a notoriously challenging dungeon crawler role playing game. This game is NOT a grindfest or a hack-n-slash game. It's turn-based and succeeding requires keen strategy and perseverance. But you're up to the task and you have what it takes to defeat the Spirit Witch and unlock the hardcore dungeon, The Path of No Return. If you make it to the end of THAT dungeon, a surprise is in store for you. Five themed dungeons. Tons of monster types with devious abilities. Voyage to Farland will keep you busy for months to come. Fun things you can do in Voyage to Farland: • get a pet robot you can level up • befriend an outcast monster that will help you fight • take on the challenge of the Strategy Dungeon • build weapon & shield enchantments and store gear in a warehouse

UPDATE: this should be fixed in version 2.2.3 which will be released on Desura July 23, 2013!

---------

One of the drawbacks of still being a "poor" indie dev is that I spend most (all) of my dev time on a 1280x800 notebook...

The Bad News
Version 2.2 doesn't seem to handle fullscreen mode on monitors set to default display resolution higher than the 1280x800 mentioned above.

The Good News
The game at least shows a higher cell grid area (12x8 vs version 2.0 & 2.1's 8x6), but with a glitch or two here and there - one thing I noticed was the "Hit A" symbol during dialog is outside the message window box.

I noticed this after release when I got the chance to test the game on a friend's 1360xsomething??

Possible workarounds
I wonder if switching to 1280x800 and then starting the game would work? At any rate, hitting F12 at the game start switches to a larger window without the "Hit A" glitch.

Needless to say, I'll look into it and try to get a fix in the next release!
