You can play it first on IndieDB before paying any money, if you like it and want to support development you can then buy it on Desura...
It is still in pre-alpha development though, so not fully finished yet.

Well I played the game, and I liked it overall, but the lag was enormously bad.
Is there anything that I can do about this?
I might even buy the full version to support you guys.

Cool thanks :) I am currently working on adding more graphics card support and addressing some of the lag issues that you mentioned, I hope in a future update you will be able to play it better.
