Welcome to our first news. We are very excited to start showing our progress to you gamers and hope that you will follow us to get the latest news as soon as they come out. You might ask yourself why should you follow us ?
It's simple because we work on an awesome game with the Unreal Engine 4. So let us tell you what the game is all about and why you should be interested.
What is VG Arena about ?
VG Arena is a multiplayer arena shooter in a cyberpunk themed world. Humanity got back an old game which will amuse the rich and give work to the desperate, the Colosseum. As a kind of new gladiator you will have to fight and survive those bloody matches with all sort of weapons, reaching from melee weapons to guns. But the opposite team won't be your only enemy in those arenas. Random events can happen at any time and will influence the arena and the gameplay.
You want an example ? Well let me give you some. Fighting in an arena and take cover behind a wall, but suddenly walls and other objects start to move and a new passageway opens up to go reach the underground labyrinth which can free wild creatures to fight every player on the field. Or fighting in a cave based arena and at some point lava starts to raise from a hole in the ground or an earthquake opens up new ways to strike your enemy, but be careful that you won't get hit by giant rocks.
We got a lot of surprises that will change the arena and you while competing against the other team.
Good and exciting performance in the arena will get you noticed by sponsors, allowing you to get better weapons and even suites. You will also have access to Bio-Upgrades which will increase your performance.
You will have support by your personal game advisor. Her name is Embla and she will assist you throughout your time as gladiator.
Embla used to be a gladiator on the battlefield, specializing in hacking information and setting up map traps. After her legs were gravely injured, she has picked up the task of monitoring the battlefield and provide players with map information.
Unlock / pick up items in game will allow upgrades for her equipment, which can assist players even more on the battlefield
Who is Vescor Games ?
Why we will release this game, and by the way, who is Vescor Games ?
Vescor Games is an Indie-Game Studio, founded back in 2011. Members of the Studio have been working on several games and mods over the years. For example the total conversion mod called "Casus Belli".
We are currently 7 Developers working on VG Arena , but we are always looking for more, skilled people to join our professional and fun group and help us realise our first big project on Unreal Engine 4.
We would like to release a news Update every 2 weeks and work as hard as we can to always show you new and exciting media. We are also preparing for an early alpha soon and would like to invite a number of players to join us and give us their feedback.
