Cavelight Entertainment have just uploaded a brand new gameplay video from their upcoming racer, Velocity Stream.

Posted by Hogge on Apr 10th, 2013

As you might have seen, by the time our IndieGoGo-campaign launched, the footage in the video was nearly a month old.
We felt that the video no longer made the game any justice and that it was much too long so we decided to create a brand new video based on brand new footage.

If you watch the video, you'll notice a new feature: the Fighter mode. The Fighter mode is a proposed part of the activator mode, where players are given an alternate task once they've won or lost the race. Comment below if you want to see the Fighter mode in the finished game. Or even if you don't!

We would also like to remind you of our ongoing crowdfunding campaign, where we offer amazing rewards in exchange for contributions. Tell your friends, post it on Facebook, Tweet it, share on forums and of course, contribute!

It looks like the track creator's experience would be kind of boring, being so slow, though?

We're working on creating an exciting experience for the Paver as well. We're going to implement power ups and a checkpoint system, as well as tweaking the speed, to make the game more fun. Shaky cams, motion blur, more obstacles in the game world and other effects will then increase the sense of speed.

And as we desire to make this the definitive sci-fi racing experience, we are of course open to suggestions from our fans.
