The first chapter of a new tactical role-playing game series, coming to the PC market Q1 2012.

Following the sudden resurgence of an adversary long forgotten, the powerful kingdom of Velisia is plunged into pandemonium. The Velisian Knights have been holding back the Azakari aggressors for years but are steadily losing the hold on their territories. One by one, they fall to an enemy with superior numbers and advanced technology. A small band of knights stands strong in the face of overwhelming odds, willing to give their lives to protect their ideals. However, when the misery of war begins to warp the very principles they fight for, the heroes start to question each other’s judgement and animosity begins to spread throughout the ranks.

wow that person's voice is extremely unique, i love it. I have a bit of a problem with the animations, though. i dont know if i've been spoiled by fire emblem or anything, but it kinda feels like the animations arent as action packed as I hoped.

A Unique Voice! well better than a borring one then I guess :-)

Just had a look at Fire Emblem as I must confess i'd never played it, I can see where your coming from in terms of the "action" in the way they hit each other and stuff. We originally where going to have the sprites fighting on the game map but made the choice to go for the comic styled animation clips to push away from the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics.

Being judged aginst Nintendo Kyoto will do me though! I'll inform Mike he needs to shape up his animations if hes going to bring the Nintendo empire crashing down.

Cheers for the Feedback

Hey Andy,

Firstly sorry for the late reply last two weeks have been alittle hectic, I promised gameplay footage about a month ago and in hindsight perhaps not the best plan. We are making strong progress with it but we hit a few glitches with the game editor that needed to be addressed before the engine could be brought upto speed.

Hopefully! fingers crossed this week things should start to pull together towards a fully working client.

In the mean time, i'm going to put up a bunch of updates as to what we've been doing in this dark period.

Hi, we had the exact same problems! You expect gameplay to come together and then boom! And it doesn't help when you have other modules, dissertations etc.

You guys have put a good amount of content up, just keep at it! Are you thinking of working on it furthur after University? We couldn't with our game because half the team moved away and got jobs. If you can continue, the extra time and lack of immovable deadlines really help.

Also do you know when you're presentations are being held? Some of us were asked to come back in a year to see how the course is and I think this would be the perfect time to.

Hey Andy, theres some what of a gameplay video up now, although its not the greatest, we kinda killed the AI when trying to fix the turn system.

As for the presentations, I think they will be on the 9th of May, but can't say that with 100% authority yet, i'll let you know when I know for sure.

This has been a slow week due to commitments to other modules at University, or well pretty much the fact our Dissertations are due this coming tuesday.

However once those are in its full steam ahead to the Beta Client, i'll have some gameplay footage for you to take a look at hopefully next week!
