Fast pace cellshading flying action. Soar the skies as you take on the most vicious enemies above the ground. Experience an airborne adventure in an all new art style that will take you to something different and exciting. With the possibility to add just about anything you can imagine into the game, the sky it's not the limit. It's just the beginning.
It's a difficult task; giving a fair review and rating to a game that's still in alpha. Do I rate the game based on what is there, knowing that it's missing content and will have bugs? Or do I rate it based on the potential that the game has, even though there's no guarantee that it will live up to that potential?
Vector Thrust is a fun flying game (not a simulator) with a very cool art style not typically seen in games of this type. But as it is right now, it's fairly lacking in content. And while the game will probably be outstanding when it's complete, it's not much more than a fun time waster right now. I'm much more excited for what this game will be (might be, hopefully) than what it is right now. That being said, if you are interested in games of this type, you should buy it. Why? Because it's cheap and because every purchase makes it more likely that we will one day see this game reach its full potential.
As for a rating, I'm giving it a 7. That's somewhere between "this game is great!" and "that's all there is?".
