Suggestion: I think you should took the picture when it's unleashing its stream of dakka.

I tried to, believe me, but the new flare effects are so bright you can't see the missile then.

I originally thought this was a cruise missile.

Description

Light enough to be carried on a missile pylon, the PDM-01A 'Hornet' combat drone functioned nearly identically to a medium-range air to air missile, aided by the rather unorthodox use of a compact automated chaingun mounted below the primary rocket, which drew ammunition from a 20-round clip of incendiary shells. The design principle behind these weapons was that the chaingun would pepper the target with rounds as it closed, wreaking havoc with its aerodynamic performance and presenting an easy target for the drone to hit with its fragmentation warhead. Its manufacturers argued that even if the missile failed to connect, the gun's usage would result in significant damage anyway.

Thanks to a number of factors, including poor turning performance, mechanical complexity, a curious tendency to self-destruct occasionally and above all, a ridiculous design philosophy, the PDM was a failure in the arms market, with only 1000 units ever produced. Nowadays the ones which have not been scrapped or used have become somewhat of a mercenary's collector item.
