So, a few years back THQ was looking to make an arcade flight combat game, now the game itself never got past a CGI trailer (link below) and some basic renders and it was never formally announced, but if you ask me I thing the game itself looked, if nothing else, interesting.

Personally, I like the way they took existing aircraft and mixed and matched parts from other aircraft into them. The story, according to rumors, involved mercenaries fighting a corrupt/oppressive government in a post apocalyptic world.

Anyways, I just remembered this old story and I wanted to share with everybody.

Arrgh, you opened my old wound again D:<

lol jk

On the serious note: it was made by Juice games (Juiced series) actually, before THQ stupidly brought them down for some reason. Here's hoping there's someone kind enough to salvage the project and carry it on, but it seems almost everyone have forgotten about its existence.

I remember well that game, I was really looking forward to it back then.
But what really drawn me in, was seeing those mixed and matched designs.

Don't remember seeing it before 2013, but those planes, you are so right, oh my god

It would be kick ass to see some in Vector Thrust, I'd try it myself, but I have neither the time nor the motivation to learn modelling, animating etc.
