About the GAF-1 Varolac can you try to play it with the incubator build that has the special log?

Well, the last line is the same as this error message I got during the crash. Maybe it's because the model has high polycount (about more than 1000 polys)?

And TS, what unit do you use for the positioning parts in the aircraft .ini? I use standard meter but it doesn't seem to be accurate.

Can you show me the lines before that? But I don’t think it is the poly count, most VT models are around 5000 triangles
I also use meters but you should use “.” Instead of “,” for the decimals
If you write 0,346 it will read as 0

The last 2 lines implied that there's a problem during generating LOD models

16:45:46: Auto Gen Lod
16:45:46: Generating 5 lower LODs for mesh gaf-1.mesh

Humm. Maybe it has to do with the way it was exported. But I’ll add a way to recover from this exception in case it is not able to generate the lods

Hey TS, maybe you can take a look at how Ogre handling the texture mapping as well? Those models with "problematic" skin actually looked fine when rendered on 3DS Max/Blender.

Also, I just found that the Varolac model have some open edges. Maybe that's what caused the crash before?

update: still didn't work

Looks like I stumbled into another ploblem, I courn I've did the UVW mapping correctly that it looked fine in the viewport/render.
Nevermind, apparently I placed the wrong texture. Stupid me.

update 2: Exporting the model to .3ds first fixed the damn mapping problem. Wheee.
