Can you show me the lines before that? But I don’t think it is the poly count, most VT models are around 5000 triangles |

Humm. Maybe it has to do with the way it was exported. But I’ll add a way to recover from this exception in case it is not able to generate the lods done, I think you will be able to play with this model in the next version |

Hey TS, maybe you can take a look at how Ogre handling the texture mapping as well? Those models with "problematic" skin actually looked fine when rendered on 3DS Max/Blender. Also, I just found that the Varolac model have some open edges. Maybe that's what caused the crash before? update: still didn't work Looks like I stumbled into another ploblem, I courn I've did the UVW mapping correctly that it looked fine in the viewport/render. update 2: Exporting the model to .3ds first fixed the damn mapping problem.
