Alpha v0.2a

Hello gamers! 3DrunkMen have watched your videos, read your emails, gotten your feedback and have released Vanish Alpha 0.2a! Thrown into a labyrinth for reasons unknown, make your way through in search for an escape.

We've created a Vanish Alpha 0.1 Compilation Let's Play Playlist with all the videos we've seen. If you make one, let us know and we'll add it to the list. And if you make a new video with Alpha 0.2a, we'll add it to the new Vanish Alpha 0.2 Playlist!

Please note that the game is currently in an alpha state. Some parts may contain placeholders and/or incomplete assets, along with bugs. Check the readme file to view version updates. We invite all interested players to provide feedback and bug reports to: 3DrunkMen@gmail.com

There is currently a known bug that will kill the player when too close to a dead end wall. If you happen to find yourself in this position, just move away a little bit and you shouldn't die. But if you still happen to, just bear with us until the next update and try not to rage too much.
Thanks for playing!

We also don't mind any Let's Play videos. We'd love to see how our players play Vanish and we're able to spot bugs easier as well as get new ideas for future updates! Feel free to post your videos on YouTube and let us know so we can watch!
We'd appreciate it if you link back to our IndieDB page if you do!

Some suggestions for future releases:

1. Primary locations being more likely to "spawn" in front of the player depending on how long they've been playing.

2. Counting the number of enemy encounters and decreasing them if there has been a high frequency so that they're a bit more evenly placed out. (Vice versa if you've had too few.)

3. Change the enemy mechanics, perhaps add the ability to throw a stone to distract them, because they rely on sound.

4. Make the glowstick actually useful.

I think by far, some of the most intense gameplay ive seen of this game..is by the youtuber markiplier. Hes done about 5 videos, and if you ever want to see the intensity that someone puts into a game..he is the one to see.

He recently quit, he's been killed by that dead end glitch that kills the player and its just in general gave him the worst time because of the dynamic random paths that always change

support mic?
what good is implementing mic for?

sure it might give a niche thing but most players wouldn't be able to because of environmental sounds

nice concept but in reality its ****. you'd have to create a whole sound package to filter noise and ignore traffic/sirens/alarms/dogs/cats
its just dumb, no mic thanks
