This is the full version of Urisis before it went SUPER. That is, this is the intended final version. But apparently I went off working on it for two...
Urisis revolves around a beautiful, ancient, and magical world dedicated to peace, prosperity and love. Yet it wasn't always like this. Many centuries before, the world of Urisis upheld a war between the good of it's people and the dark cold race of beings who inhabited the cold regions of Urisis. This cold evil race of beings where lead by Draconan, king of the Darkthrone determine to rule the planet of Urisis. The King of Urisis who was then Urek would not stand to see his world he so much loved, cast in flames, and so it was done. Draconan was soon encased in stone with magic and might, the very being that was so willing to conquer Urisis. This was only the beginning. After centuries of peace and prosperity the secret evil race of the cold steadily pieced themselves with an army of evil so powerful it overtook the then old Urek. With his blood they overtook the army of Urisis and set Urisis in flames. All was gone except for the one they named Merciless... as the one son of Urek, Merciless, overtook control and vowed to bring the land to it's rightful throne.
So like I had guessed, the current version of Game Maker Studio the pricey one works pretty well, it actually made the game run faster. I had found a bug that was eating up the computers RAM, it seem like there was a lost bit of code somewhere that was creating this character way too many times...ah yeah. I have ported the project from Game Maker 8.1 which was outdated to Game Maker Studio, to reiterate, the conversion went very well. I had worked on numerous characters for a good two weeks now and I'm half way done now with the animations. Unfortunately about 4 characters had to be removed, I had to reevaluate their place in the game and they really don't fit the game's standard of EPIC BLOODSHADOW approval. I came up with some amazing weapons and animations that surprised me as well. This one below I had to combine from two characters to create...Bloodshadow - The Dragonslayer.
I had created a sort of blueprint for the game's final release that included everything from each players weapon, projectile, intended levels, cut scenes, storyline, expected challenges, and ideas. My worries now are to finish up the last stage of Coldmoon Caverns
Added it's boss, finished the The Lost World's.
Stages with boss, add the boss for the Sacred Gods, add another sea adventure with the boss being "The Belly of the Sea Serpent" which will feature an entrance to a sea creature's mouth and a full fledged stage of the insides to which you would have to find and cut an opening to. Yup WOW. The final boss has been modified to feature a hidden secret to which I will keep a secret till the end. Expect a lot. The OUYA controller addition will be updated soon by my part. I had
Attempted to make it work before and it is fully functional. The optional 2-player VS mode is still in debate whether it will be released for the final Ouya release. All I got to say to that is that it should be finished, but again it is still debatable if it is. There's also a lot of secrets that where added including secret fighters, like The Emerald King, Disco Butts, Mr. Yeehaw, Areos, and Sentry just to name a few. To recap a good 10 % still needs finishing and polishing to cap this beautiful beast.
