There a chance one of you guys can put up some text and maybe have the tutorial for maya users so we can replicate it? Great job though it looks pretty spot on.

i think it could be possible if you have similar nodes inside the hypergraph, if you are talking about this as arealtimeshader for maya, try using shader fx for max, it's free and can do the same stuff and also can compile to maya fx files

sorry super late reply :D
you have to change your texture from wrap mode to clamp mode, what you see it the righter most pixel that wraps onto the most outer left pixel, to get rig of that you either need to clamp or mirror the wrapping in the textures settings

hi, I have a question: I tried to set this up, but it didn't work :S I'm guessing it has something to do with the reflection vector: in your screenshot, it shows up as blue, but in my material editor, it's just black and I can't change that... i'm fairly new to the material editor, but other than the reflection vector everything worked, so there has to be something I'm doing wrong... do you have any idea what it is that causes my problem?

(the realtime preview is also just black)
