Chaos Bounce alters the ammount of knockback players suffer when hit, using an algorithm making knockback proportional to health. The more health the player has the less knockback they suffer but as they take damage they become more sensitive and the game becomes 'bouncier'. This creates a highly stylised and kinetic kind of gameplay where player not only need to worry about hitting their enemies, but which weapon is most appropriate to the situation (high damage weapons when the enemy has lots of health versus high knockback weapons later on) and which angle they hit their opponents. It encourages players to mind their surroundings and keep their backs to a wall while exploiting any openings the enemy leaves for a knockoff win. It is our hope that this high energy, high speed style of gameplay will prove both challenging and highly entertaining.
