Recently the Starcraft: Source Team lost a member "Mozo" Who was doing the process of compile the models into the source engine.I know it’s a bit strange that other team members wouldn’t just learn how to do this process but I have personally been having some problems with it.
So far as modeling and texturing goes were fine because we have those skills so we are just looking for someone in the community to help us with the compiling process and maybe teach us a thing or two.
We have been experimenting with the possibility of the player deciding whether to be a male or female character and inserting 2 separate dialogs into the game.
(Marine or ghost?)The game will feature the player being able to Visit different worlds at his or her leisure and saving the effects you caused on that world when leaving (It could be similar to the Metroid Prime series. Just by chance that this engine has a feature that already uses this effect).
This also means that you can bring back weapons you link to your ship :) (Battlecruiser)We are also are looking for a name for the Battlecruiser so if anyone thinks of something please share.
