Left 4 Quake isn't really dying, we are making slow progress, but you see we have this very large, very heavy anchor attached to us: The lack of a mapper. It doesn't matter how many weapons we have, no matter how smart the zombies are if theres no place to play. If theres no place to put them in.

So I have a proposition. A bargain.
I would like someone or someones from our community, from our followers, who are skilled at mapping and are familiar with quake to step forward and map for us. As for the rest of our loyal followers I would like you to seek out quake mappers.

In return for this large favor, I have a big surprise for the entire community. Its not necessarily a release, more like an announcement a very big and important one, but one everyone will love. But no hints or answered questions until we get a mapper.

Thanks in advance.

Imagine if this was more like Quake than Left 4 Dead: More Shotguns, more huge monsters, less reloading, less falling down/downed...****, I'm turning this into a zombie movie.

we are just using the quake engine
but we are taking away stuff like
faster loading,no falling down
no slowing down when hurt
and you dont stop moving when being attacked.
