When i play versus as louis it sure seems that way...
we are having a custom story, its completely original. Go over to solitude and tell them to use an original character -__- Just like its not really Halo without the chief, its not really left 4 dead without bill, louis, zoey, and francis. The only thing not original about this game is the characters. We will add new environments, weapons, and maybe new special infected.
Solitudes character isn't master chief, so technically it is original... =P
But yea, I know what you mean, custom story is the most important.

Ghost, if you have a problem with Solitude talk to me about it. Otherwise, stop using it as a really bad excuse.
Solitude has original characters, original designs and can't be mistaken with halos designs. Unless you think we're idiots, it's blatantly obvious that's the original texture. Why would the artist have UV-mapped and textured it before it's done. Why are all the details 1 to 1. You guys don't have creative freedom?
Basicly, I could tear most of the content in this project to peices, but I choose to support it. When somebody complains, don't do the immature thing and say but he did it.
Solitude has it's own characters. Instead of knock a project you obviously don't have a clue about, focus on your own.

who ******* cares why are we arguing about this stupid **** who cares if it is.. people get there game. its a homebrew not some huge ******* corp. im not on much because i have a life. and sam i know you do to but you always find a way to "down" us while making us look like the bad guy at the same time. its like pirating software or movies and music its not right but EVERYONE does it at some point maybe if you guys would stop ******* complaining we could finish the damn game because even if the game was 100% stolen version you would play it..

You know, pirating music just so you can listen to it is not even remotely close to the same thing as taking a texture you didn't make and putting it in your game as if it was your team's work and then releasing that game to the public.

WTF have I told you? Don't think that your work doesn't have every right to be up there with big companies. That mentality will get your **** in a sock-drawer. Lets not start some internet drama, I have the utmost respect for you, your project, and your team. If anything I gave you a compliment. They were doubting us for how close the texture was to the original. I told asked them why haven't they trolled Soltiude when it seriously looks like you took them right out of Halo (good job) But when we are just as good people assume they have been ripped. And tyler, you're an idiot, they arent ripped, pepi made the texture, i can post a side by side comparison. So Sami, don't start bitching at me, I never said anything bad about your project.
