And so, the Trident sped through the vastness of space, fleeing from a relentless form of self-replicating machines, known as the Mechaphage. The only line of defense between them and the Trident is an army of Sentinels, human consciences housed within robotic bodies. Now, the Trident has gone dark, with no prior warning.
