Hey folks!

1. It got a bit silence here on this blog for the last time. Except some entries about journeys to promote TRI, we are currently planning a new project. At least we try. It's not easy to come up with something that beats your 3-year game project without consuming so much time and nerves.

But then, this baby brought us the wonderful nomination for the Deutsche Computerspielpreis (German Computer Games Award) in the category 'Bestes Jugendspiel' (Best Youth Game). Together with the awesome The Last Tinker by Mimimi Productions and "The Curious Expedition" by Maschinenmensch we will attend the award ceremonies on April, 21st in Berlin.

Until then, there is the opportunity to push us higher for the audience award and even win a ticket for the ceremony. Just head to this page and follow the instructions below. It's easy-peasy until you encounter the German anti-spam question under your e-mail. Just use Google Translate or write us a mail or tweet and we help you.

Thanks a lot!

2. Another thing is especially for indies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland: I'd like to find out who we are, how we make games, how indies finance their projects and if they are happy. Help me grab some data and fill out this survey -> Here.

I hope you're also looking into getting TRI into one of the Indie Royale bundles! They seem to do pretty well and recently they have been putting together bundles of alpha games. Good luck getting the funding you need to finish this game comfortably. The astetics are great and the game play looks quite fun.

Our current sale on IGS will probably be the only sale for a longer time regarding TRI. We just don't want to think that you can't sell a game fullprice nowadays, because everyone waits for sales and bundles ...

$5 is absolutely a fair price for the game, I was just bringing up Indie Royale in the eventuality that you ended up needing another fund raising in the future to get the game finished up.

TRI costs $5 as long as it's alpha. The price for the full version will probably be $10 or $12. We really shouldn't do another sale of this kind before it's finished. :-) I guess we would rather try IndieGoGo.
Also, the outcome of the Debut Bundles of IndieRoyale doesn't look that great, especially if you consider the much smaller royalties.

I noticed that this game is not listed in the alphafunding section … did that happen intentionally?

No, it didn't. How do I put it into that section?

„There are a lot of risks involved with alphafunding so not every game is eligible... but if you are open about your development, want to give and get support from your fans then get in contact and let us know about your project.“

- I very much like this game. It's very similar to Portal and Portal 2 from Valve. It's just that instead of portals you create tri's to make your path defying gravity.
- The music is very good!
- The puzzles are ok, not to hard, not to easy, just enough to have fun
- To bad there aren't NPC's like the robots in Portal to fight with in original ways (no guns of course)
- Oh, I'm playing this on Linux and my specs are i3-370M, 4Gb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 310M 512Mb. On the website, the recommended specs are i5 and better graphics cards (i think). For me it works with these specs but i had to cut down and tweak it in the options->performance xD

I haven't tried it yet, but it's definitely on my queue one I'm over with starseedpilgrim and pid. But here my question: Are you planning to make it RIFT compatible? PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE! Tri is exactly the kind of world I'd like to experience in vr! Please also with hydra support! *hoping*

Currently we don't plan Rift support - but if TRI gets popular enough we will definitely do it. Right now it wouldn't be feasible for us, I fear.

Thanks for your fast reply, even if it made me a little sad ;) - I hope it gets popular enough to justify a rift version (maybe being a rift-ready launch title would give it a large extra boost?).

I just purchased the game and am looking forward to playing it when my 'queue' is empty (I recently figured that I get more out of a game when I'm not playing too many different games at once)
