Towns brings a fresh new take on the city building/management genre by introducing many RPG features.
In its current form (v8) the game isn't fun, its frustriating to try to build stuff, dig. There are no indications as to why you aren't getting any more villagers. This version compared to earlier versions is actually harder to get anything done in it at all. I recomened waiting until this game hits 1.0 before checking it out. I'll update this after a few more updates to see if it fixes its user interface.
How this game got on steam and even got a rating this high is a suprise, did we even play the same game? What I played was a crappy game where villagers seemed to get stuck doing the simple task or getting themselves killed if I was not watching for a brief moment. The graphics was something I could except from a early 90s game, but the graphics don't drag down my rating; the game can do that easy on its own. It has no tutorial, I was a bit confusing until I got it; but it was not that fun when I actually managed to play.
Bad game, should be free since it is not even close to be worth that price.
