The year is 878 AD, the embattled English king Alfred the Great has mounted a heroic defence at the battle of Edington, and blunted the Viking invasion. Chastened – but not yet broken – the Norse warlords have settled across Britain. For the first time in nearly 80 years, the land is in a fragile state of peace.

Total war: Thrones of Britannia will be launched in April!

~ The game comes earlier than expected ~

When the Creative Assembly revealed Total War: Thrones of Britannia in November, they said this was the first part of a kind of miniserie where they would focus more on specific periods of time. In this way, it does not take as long from advertising to launch either.

    • Processor: Intel® Core ™ 2 Duo 3.0Ghz

After checking some video showcases of this game and what new/refined stuff it's having over Attila, I have to be honest and say that I'm starting to lose interest.
This is supposed to be a "stand alone" that is based on Attila. It's gonna be a fully priced game. However, in actual content, it barely introduces much more than Empire Divided did for Rome II (and that one was a DLC!).

Seems like I will just sit here waiting for the 3 kingdoms game that HOPEFULLY will have some of the positives of TW: Warhammer.
