Torchlight is an action role-playing game currently under development by Runic Games. The game is scheduled for release for Windows on October 27, 2009. The fantasy-themed game is set in the fictional town of Torchlight and the expansive caverns and dungeons nearby, which adventurers explore to collect valuable loot and battle hordes of monsters. Development of the game is led by Travis Baldree, designer of Fate, and Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer, co-designers of Diablo and Diablo II, joined by the team that developed Mythos.
Adds a portal to the town that will transport the player to the crypt Charnel House. In it players will find Gideon and his recently deceased friend, Skeet. They have been trapped in the Charnel House for awhile and need safe passage to the exit. It is a short quest with a concentration on NPC interaction and a (hopefully) humorous tone. Uploaded a quick revision to address a few issues and suggestion I have received. Notably I fixed an entrapment bug, made some lighting additions, tweaked the dialogue at the end, and added a few cosmetic changes.
Good level. Great Dialogue. Too short.
Thanks for the feedback, RayGun. This was my first Torchlight map. I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew, so that is why it is short. I'm glad you liked the dialogue, though. My next project will definitely be longer, promise.
Made another quick revision. The monsters should now scale with your characters level and at the end you are rewarded with exp and fame.
