This project has not been abandoned. Unless information comes from the official source, please disregard online rumors. Indie game dev is a very tough business and the year 2013 is even tougher due to many new indie studios funded by former AAA developers. Competition for human resources and funding is fierce. People who believed it the game and ordered alpha - huge thank you, you will never be forgotten and when the game is resurrected, we will make it up to you, somehow. Thank you for understanding.

Seeing no feedback for the new features we implemented I figured Desura client doesn't ping owners of the game that there was an update. Therefore I made a screencast about new features including spellcrafting and new menu. So this will play out like multiplayer TES with rogue-like gameplay and breakable walls? I'm new to this game and I would like some info on it ;) I'll probably buy it later

It's certainly not roguelike game, it's more action oriented.

I am giving a second thought to random design and all-breakable walls, as I am finding it really limiting when it comes to making unique looking dungeons. So things might change in the future.

Thanks for the link! Oh and I'm sorry to hear that, the random dungeons and all-brekable walls were, while less controllable, very exciting features indeed, I hope you reconsider, maybe do both? Built dungeons and random ones?

I gotta see about that. Random sounds exciting, but in reality it isn't always the case. I'd say breakable walls are fun, but I prefer certain walls to be breakable and certain walls to be solid.

I liked the idea of blowing up walls as I see fit, maybe you think it's a broken mechanic because of closed doors easily avoidable? Sorry for all the questions ^^'' just curious

I am not sure about that feature. There certain things the lead coder puts in the FAQ we haven't agreed upon yet. That one is probably out of the scope of the game.
Basically there are many, many things are doable and could be implemented, but I think we should specify the scope of the release, because I don't want to spend 10 years developing ToM :)

"because I don't want to spend 10 years developing ToM :) " Well it certainly seems so since it's 0.07a :D but yeah, I'm sorry to hear all that, but I can understand; this game will still be fun just not the revolutionary way I first tought it was, kinda disappointed really, but maybe I'm failing to see the big picture you guys have in mind (hope I didn't say anything offensive, didn't mean to ^^''). Still going to buy it sooner or later anyway, thanks for your feedback

Revolutionary nowadays isn't quite something easily achievable. Games have been around for quite a while and most of the fun gameplay options have been utilized in some form or another.
ToM revolutionary way requires a lot of resources dedicated to the game. So whiles there is a big picture, we should be realistic about how we can accomplish the goal. Alpha funding for ToM failed, so we can't work on the game full time any longer (unless some miracle happens :P ) Therefore I need to figure out how to keep ToM somewhat revolutionary, yet spend less time developing it. Maybe it's about having less content but polishing core gameplay, maybe it's by eliminating all walls being breakable, etc.

Sorry to hear that, it seems like a great game indeed :) and you have already other games under your belt so I'm more inclined to trust you about finishing it, maybe the starting price is a little high? that is a big turn off initially, how about an indie bundle? have you tried that? That really boosts the people playing a game
