This update improves the in-game visuals and introduces new game-play elements. If you already have the game, select update on the launcher. If not, grab it here.
There are a number of new objects to interact with:
- The Engineering console - when powered up, this console turns on the ships emergency lights. Engineering consoles can be found anywhere on installations and spaceships
- The Security console - when powered up, this console unlocks all security doors, allowing them to be opened. Security consoles will generally be found close to the flight deck. If this console is destroyed it may not be possible to complete a level
- Security doors. The security console needs to be accessed to unlock doors. They can then be opened by clicking on them with the cursor/mouse
- The Command Console - when powered up, the command console turns on the ships lights and provides a power source for robots. Command consoles tend to be found at the pointy end of spaceships.
New spaceship and installation graphics in 60 degree isometric have replaced the old top down graphics. There are improved star backgrounds and as a result of these changes most of the 100 levels have been updated.
