Good day Trench Rats,
Clean up those shoes soldier, just because we've been working away at HQ doesn't give you the excuse to slack!
Now then, now, then now, now then, then, then, now! We've been working incredibly hard over the last month to push The Somme's pipeline into a faster arrival - namely Kickstarter; we understand and appreciate all the support that has been given to us via emails and private messages and I can confirm, yes, that we are still shooting for Kickstarter ( follow us on Twitter for fast updates! )and it's appearance is not too long around the corner - so if you want to support The Somme, prepare to purchase war bonds, because your country needs you!
Lastly, we feel you chaps haven't been showed enough of The Somme so far, so we've released yet another animation reel for the Trench Gun and we took on board the criticism regarding the Enfield's animations and applied it to The Somme ( Thank you community! ).
Thanks.

Erm I hate how euros cost more than US cash..
Doppler, how large are the maps supposed to be and are you going to do full battles in one map. Example would be putting the Battle at the Somme in one map. Personally, I would disagree on that for historical reasons but I am nonetheless excited. Good luck fellows. I'm hopefully gonna be able to donate for your kickstarter.
In a perfect world, we would have them all in one level. But we're not in a situation where we could do that. Levels are separated like you see in most video games. The map(s) scale are entirely dependant on the Battle themselves. We take sections from each battle and expand on them. That's the best way I can describe their size without putting my foot in it. :P
Re...really? That's sweet! I'm even more excited. That's more fantastic news.
For how long has this game been worked on? Will it be available on Steam? And for what price? Becuase it looks stunning!
Under a year and half. Hopefully! We can't state that yet, but we're staring at £14.99 for now. Thank you, all support is very much appreciated!

I. AM. SO. PSYCHED.
Hi, I'm just wondering how the gameplay is going to be? or you going with a realistic style of RO1/Project Reality (you know realistic gameplay but not full on simulators)
Or is it going to be a more arcadey gameplay with unlocks and such? (hint: hoping for realistic :P)
A bit of both.
