I have spent all day playing around with Gimp. I have been experimenting with hand-drawn "fake ambient occlusion" shadows in storage theme texture and I quite like the way it turned out.

This is obviously no where near final, there are ugly tiling issues and the rust layer is missing, but the shadows are there..

What do you think?
